Counsellor

Tiffany is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC, #6851) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, as well as holding both a Masters in Counselling Psychology from the City University of Seattle and a Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Victoria.

Tiffany brings almost a decade of knowledge and experience to all avenues of working with women and adults of diverse backgrounds and experiences. Her natural warmth, combined with evidence-based practices, enables her to support and navigate individuals through challenges and changes in their lives.

Tiffany is dedicated to supporting women and their loved ones with facing a variety of challenges, including (but not limited to), mood disorders, relationship concerns, trauma, grief and loss, and significant life transitions.

Committed and passionate about supporting and empowering women at all points in their life journeys, Tiffany is pleased to support women accessing Burnaby Midwifery.

Pregnancy and parenthood are times of great change, transition and discovery, and this can understandably bring moments of challenge and uncertainty, as well as opportunity for growth and positive transformation. Tiffany provides a welcoming safe space for women to feel supported with taking care of their mental and emotional well-being, while navigating these and all other moments in their lives.

  • Supporting mental and emotional well-being with women encountering diverse life experiences
  • Exploring evolving identities, life values, and narratives that accompany life transitions
  • Navigating uncertainties and challenges that may accompany experiences of change
  • Identifying and enhancing internal and external resources to support positive coping and well-being
  • Enhancing existing coping and self-care practices with tools such as mindfulness, relaxation and emotional regulation, and accessing support
